Returns
Please know that everything I make is handmade and no two items are alike. Imperfections including variations in colour, finish and size will occur between pieces and this reflects the handmade nature of the work. I work alone in a studio. I am not an industrial potter, and my pieces are not made to an industrial standard. Each piece should be handled with appropriate care. I endeavour to check each piece for faults before sending it out to you. All care is taken when packing items
- If items arrived broken:
- Please contact Remnants Pottery via email (remnantspottery@gmail.com) within 24 hours of receiving the item with the subject BROKEN ITEM and your invoice #.
- Include in your email photographic evidence of the damage, including of the packaging. Please retain the packaging as proof the item has been damaged in transit.
- Notification within 24 hours is essential for tracking and insurance purposes.
- Broken ceramics will not be refunded unless original packaging is kept as proof that the item was broken in transit and notification of damage is received within 24 hours of parcel tracking showing as delivered.
- Please allow up to 5 working days for any refunds to be processed.
- Please choose carefully. Exchanges cannot be offered since most items are one of a kind. In addition, packing must be precise and I cannot be held responsible for damages incurred in the return of a piece to Remnants Pottery.
- Breakages that occur through use, including through thermal shock, bumping or dropping, will not be replaced or refunded.
- If your piece does suffer a breakage through use, and can be repaired, I encourage you to do so. Araldite will do the job, or there are heaps of fantastic kintsugi kits out there! However, do your due diligence - repaired pieces may not be as heat tolerant to hot water or the microwave, or even to a hot soup or coffee, and may no longer be food safe.
